On Friday 26 February, FISS will be hosting an "O" week celebration at the Randy Dragon from 4pm to welcome new students to Victoria University. We welcome all students from Victoria University, in particular business students, to come join us for a night.

On October 29 2009, the Finance and Investment Student Society (FISS), with the support of the Alumni Relations, held an event to celebrate Andrew Rogers’ silver anniversary with VU (and its predecessor institutions).

The event drew over one hundred guests, many of them Andrew's ex students, now valued VU graduates and active members of our alumni. Speakers reflecting on their time with Andrew and honouring his teaching and mentoring included Richard Crosbie, a colleague and past lecturer at VU, Anne Bastian, ex-student and now Liberty Finance General Manager of Human Resources, and Gia Mankir, 2009 valedictorian.
